On Saturday, May 3, 2025, with the support of Istanbul Kültür University, International Trade and Finance Department, a "Sustainability Summit" was organized at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus, by the Green For Youth team led by high school students from various provinces of Turkey. In the congress, UTC department vice chair Dr. N.Elif Küçük made an opening speech, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meri Taksi Deveciyan, from the department, made a motivational speech to the young people. In addition, Şerif Kaynar, Çağan Özcan, Alp Eren Sarar in the inspiration and development session; Asiye Bahar Tabanlı, Aslı Dede, Pelin Karagöz Hüner in the sustainability and entrepreneurship session; Hakan Tekcandan, Fahri Emre Reçber in the education and technology session.

Activities such as sponsor stands, recycling workshop, dance performances also took place at the summit, which continued all day. The participation to the summit organized by high school students with the awareness of sustainability was quite intense.
