On May 15, 2025, hosted by Istanbul Kültür University, Department of International Trade and Finance, and in collaboration with the Association of Foreign Trade Leaders (DIŞYÖNDER), the event titled "Among the Giants in Global Trade: Taxes, the US and China" was organized. As part of the event, global trade wars, increasing taxes and Türkiye's situation were discussed. The panel addressed the development of international trade organizations from past to present, Türkiye's position as a logistics hub and the processes of adapting to the changing paradigm. The most important topics on the agenda were discussed and trade policies were evaluated in depth. The panel was moderated by Ekotürk TV program producer Erdem İlbeyi, while DIŞYÖNDER President Dr. Hakan Çınar, Former WTO Negotiator Dr. Şahin Yaman and DIŞYÖNDER Vice President Tamer Dinçşahin shared their views and experiences as panelists.
