"Cupcake Coffee Day"

We organized our Cupcake Coffee Day event on May 14th at 14:00 on the ground floor of Istanbul Kültür University Küçükçekmece Campus by Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences International Trade and Finance Department. Poster presentations of our department courses Social Responsibility Project and Social Responsibility Project were exhibited, the certificate of the project carried out with our department Erasmus Partner University DHBW was presented and our athletes were given certificates of appreciation.

"SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT"

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, with the support of Istanbul Kültür University, International Trade and Finance Department, a "Sustainability Summit" was organized at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus, by the Green For Youth team led by high school students from various provinces of Turkey. In the congress, UTC department vice chair Dr. N.Elif Küçük made an opening speech, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meri Taksi Deveciyan, from the department, made a motivational speech to the young people.

"THE ALUMNI TALKS"

"The Alumni Talks" was held on Thursday, May 8th at the Küçükçekmece Campus Conference Hall in collaboration with the Istanbul Kültür University Graduate School and the Department of International Trade and Finance. Istanbul Kültür University International Trade 2019 graduate, first rank student of the school and currently a Psychology Master's student at IKU, Expert Clinical Psychologist Damla Şevval Erkent and Istanbul Kültür University 2023 Logistics Master's graduate and Cold Truck Log General Manager Bülent Karakoyunlu were our guests at the event.

VISIT TO AGORA FINTECH FAIR

Within the scope of the "Financial Management" and "Financial Literacy" courses given in the Department of International Trade and Finance (Turkish-English), the AGORA FINTECH Fair held at the Istanbul (Yeşilköy) Fair Center was visited. The visit, which took place on Thursday, April 17, was coordinated by Assist. Prof. Didem Kayalıdere, one of our academicians from the Department of International Trade and Finance.

Uyumsoft TECHNICAL TRIP

International Trade and Finance department organized a site visit to Uyumsoft on Thursday, November 21. As part of the ITR0218 "ERP with UYUMSOFT" course, the protocol made for the students of the Social Sciences Faculty to gain experience on Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, which are mostly studied within the scope of engineering sciences, has significant returns both educationally and as an internship opportunity for our students. "ZERO TOLERANCE TO VIOLENCE ON MY CAMPUS: GENDER AND DATING VIOLENCE TRAINING"

Kurtsan TECHNICAL TRIP

Our students from the Department of International Trade and Finance and guest students and lecturers from DHBW Mannheim, our Erasmus partner university, made a technical visit to Kurtsan Group of Companies, one of our industry collaborations, on Friday, September 20. Kurtsan, one of the most important family businesses in Turkey, showed us their working environment and gave us detailed information about their departments. We thank them for hosting us.
