Kurtsan TECHNICAL TRIP

Our students from the Department of International Trade and Finance and guest students and lecturers from DHBW Mannheim, our Erasmus partner university, made a technical visit to Kurtsan Group of Companies, one of our industry collaborations, on Friday, September 20. Kurtsan, one of the most important family businesses in Turkey, showed us their working environment and gave us detailed information about their departments. We thank them for hosting us.

Hatemoğlu TECHNICAL TRIP

Our students from the Department of International Trade and Finance and guest students and professors from DHBW Mannheim, our Erasmus partner university, made a technical visit to Hatemoğlu, one of our sectoral collaborations, on Monday, September 23rd. Hatemoğlu, one of the leading textile companies in Turkey, hosted our trip and showed us around their offices and gave us information about their workflow. We thank them for hosting us.
 

STUDENT PROJECT BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND FINANCE AND DHBW UNIVERSITY MANNHEIM

The Department of International Trade and Finance has started a student project based on university-industry cooperation with our students and guest students and lecturers from DHBW Mannheim, our Erasmus partner university. This project aims to provide students from both countries with international experience both academically and professionally. In this context, we opened the project on Friday, September 20 at Basın Ekspres Conference Hall.

DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND FINANCE ORIENTATION PROGRAM AND OPENıNG LECTURE

On Monday, September 23rd, Prof. Dr. Martin Kornmeier from DHBW Mannheim, our partner university in Germany, attended the opening lecture of the Academic Year 2024-2025 Orientation Program of our Department of International Trade and Finance (Turkish-English). Prof. Kornmeier talked about the importance of culture transfer in terms of education and Erasmus opportunities. Afterwards, Assist Prof Ayşegül Ketenci, one of our department faculty members. Assist Prof Ayşegül Ketenci conducted an orientation program for Turkish and English departments.

FQ CHARGING Launch

On Thursday, May 23, 2024, we held the product launch of Zafer Çiyit, Entrepreneur, Co-President of the Foreign Trade Club and also a student of the Department of International Trade and Finance, for his battery project for electric vehicles. At the launch held in Küçükçekmece Conference Hall, the usage of the product was introduced. We wish our student Zafer continued success.

As the Department of International Trade and Finance, we hosted our esteemed graduates on Monday, April 1 at our Küçükçekmece Campus Conference Hall.

With our graduates and students, we discussed the experiences of our graduates while they were at Kültür University, the difficulties they face in their current business life, and the contributions of their universities to them under the facilitation of our Head of Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nebile Korucu Gümüşoğlu.  

GENDER WORKSHOP

Within the scope of March 8 Women's Day Week events, the Department of International Trade and Finance hosted valuable Trainer Ali Mert Karaköy, the founder of Karaköy Training and Consultancy Company, in the Gender Workshop it held.

"INTERNSHIP AND EMPLOYMENT MEETING IN THE LOGISTICS SECTOR"

Our department head, Assoc. Prof., attended the "Internship and Employment Meeting in the Logistics Sector" hosted by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, March 6th. Nebile Korucu Gümüşoğlu, one of our department professors, Dr. Lecturer Member Ayşegül Ketenci and our students participated.

"WHY EXPORT?"

As the Department of International Trade and Finance, we held a conference titled "Why Export?" at the Basın Ekspres Conference Hall on Tuesday, February 27th. We hosted Export Team Leader Hasan Korkmaz from Mentor Customs Consultancy as a speaker at our event named.
