“THE EFFECT OF COVID-19 PANDEMİC ON HUMAN RESOURCES PROCESSES”

On Thursday, May 21, 2020, the International Trade and Finance Department organized an E-Seminar entitled “The Effect of Covid-19 Pandemic on Human Resources Processes” at 13:00. As a speaker to the E-Seminar, Orzax İlaç Human Resources Manager Didem Yücel Yıldızdal (Ph.D.) attended and she talked about the recruitment processes in the pandemic process. Answering the questions of the participants at the same time, Yıldızdal emphasized that there are layoffs as well as recruitments in this process and mentioned the competencies that jobseekers should add to them in this process.

“COVID-19 and CLIMATE CHANCE”

On Saturday, May 16, 2020, the International Trade and Finance Department organized an E-Seminar entitled “Covid-19 and Climate Chance” at 15:00. As a speaker to the E-Seminar, İrem Yalkı Berker (Ph.D.) attended and she talked about the effects of global warming, which is one of the negative benefits of industrialization, on the economy, and what kind of change these effects will go after Covid-19. Answering the questions of the participants at the same time, Berker mentioned that shrinkage after pandemic may be an option for economies.

On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, the International Trade and Finance Department organized an E-Seminar entitled "The Dream of a New Domestic Green Future" at 21:00.  As a speaker to the E-Seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murad Tiryakioğlu attended and mentioned the importance of production by talking about the projects related to Local Green. Answering the questions of the participants at the same time, Tiryakioğlu talked about the changes in production and trade after Covid-19.

“E-Export and Solutions”

“Department of International Trade and Finance organized an e-seminar titled “E-Export and Solutions” in cooperation with Kızılkaya Academy on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at 15:00. As a speaker, Kızılkaya Customs Consultancy General Manager Mr. Mustafa Sağdıç and UPS Deputy General Manager Mr. Cengiz Gazanfer participated in the e-seminar and provided solutions for the problems that may arise by providing comprehensive information about e-export.

Burçin Akgün Ünaldı mentioned the pre-epidemic and post-epidemic usage frequency of social media in the live broadcast and shared the prominent social media platforms with our participants in the light of statistical data within this period.

“INDIVIDUAL ISOLATION NUTRITION”

On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Department of International Trade and Finance held a webinar titled “Individual Isolation Nutrition” with the participation of Dietitian Derya İrem Balaban. In the seminar, Balaban talked about 10 items that support the immune system and made recommendations that the participants can apply in quarantine days. At the same time, he gave information to our participants about the sample diet program that they can make for the month of Ramadan.

“POSSIBLE EFFECTS OF COVID-19 ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE”

Department of International Trade and Finance was held a webinar on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at 15:00. With the participation of Bilge Terzioğlu, he held the e-seminar titled “Possible Effects of COVID-19 on International Trade”. During the seminar, while addressing the issue with globalization, Terzioğlu evaluated the possible effects of the epidemic on international trade by expressing how theory and practice came together.

Department of International Trade and Finance was held a webinar on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 21:00. With the participation of İlker Birbil (Ph.D.), he held the e-seminar titled “Data Science and Machine Learning”.
