On Tuesday, December 27, the students made their presentations within the scope of the International Trade and Strategy course given by our Kurtsan Holding Managing Partner Teacher Saltuk Karayalçın. We hosted Kurtsan Group of Companies CEO Aylin Kurt, Managing Partner Duygu Nahum, Export Manager Ödül Eymen, Strategic Planning Specialist Sercan Şenkal and Human Resources Manager Betül Siyamoğlu to evaluate the presentations made at our school. On Tuesday, December 27, "Project Presentation Festival" was held under the direction of our teacher Meri Taksi Deveciyan. In the competition, where Nurten Çalışkan Çetin and Çağıl Kaya, Research Assistants of our Department, and Mustafa Bekmezci, Research Assistant of the Entrepreneurship Department, acted as the jury, the students also scored. Congratulations to all our winners and presenters.

Lecturer Dr. Meri Taksi Deveciyan from the Department of International Trade and Finance presented her verbal notice titled “Digital Courtesy Management in Organizational Dimension” at the Yıldız International Social Sciences Congress organized by Yıldız Technical University on December 26-27, 2022.

On Tuesday, December 20, the Department of International Trade and Finance held an online conference titled "Life, Work and Education Opportunities in Canada" with Canadian College Regional Education Consultant Özlem Nas on the zoom platform to inform our students about life, education and job opportunities abroad. During the conference, Özlem Nas made a presentation and answered the questions of our students.

The article of Assist. Prof. Meri Taksi Deveciyan from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade and Finance titled "Review of The Works on and Discussion on Minority Entrepreneurship and Social Network Variables" was published in the International Western Black Sea Journal of Social and Human Sciences.

The Department of International Trade and Finance organized a documentary screening titled "Economics in Istanbul Documentary Screening: A Conversation with Director Çiğdem Boz" at Basın Ekspres Conference Hall on Wednesday, December 14th. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Boz's documentary on the establishment period of the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University and its aftermath, shot entirely with her own resources, was found interesting by our students.

The Department of International Trade and Finance organized a seminar titled "EU Green Deal and COP27 Review" on Friday, December 9th at Ataköy Campus Erdal İnönü Seminar Hall. In the seminar moderated by our department faculty member Prof. Dr. Dilek Ünalan, environmental problems and COP27 decisions were evaluated.

As part of the "2nd Equality Days" event hosted by We Speak Aloud (WSA) on 3-4 December, hosted by our University and Entrepreneurship Department, Research Assistant Çağıl Kaya gave her speech titled “From Gender Perspective: The Place of Women in the Economy”.

Research Assistant Nurten Calışkan ÇETİN attended the 6th National Polar Sciences Workshop organized by TUBITAK on 30 November / 1 December at Karadeniz Technical University; She made a poster presentation titled “A Blessing and a Curse: Climate Change in the Polar Regions”. We congratulate our teacher for his work and wish him continued success.

International Trade and Finance department organized a technical trip to Fasdat, one of the most important names in Cold Chain Logistics, on Monday, 28 November. During the trip, the Fasdat team informed our students about logistics processes.
