Lecturer Dr. Meri Taksi Deveciyan from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade and Finance presented their paper titled “Digital Footprint Management: Digital Burial” online at the 8th International Entrepreneurship Social Sciences Congress held on November 19, 2022.

The Department of International Trade and Finance held an event titled "Journey to the Metaverse with Devrim Danyal" on Wednesday, November 2nd. Blockchain Metaverse Academy Founder Devrim Danyal, who participated as a speaker at the event held at the Basın Ekspres Conference Hall, gave a speech to the students about metaverse, blockchain and NFT.

The International Trade and Finance Department held a meeting on Monday, October 31, 2022 with the Association of International Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers (UTIKAD) to discuss possible collaborations. Our meeting, Dean of IIBF, Prof. Dr. Müge Çetiner, Head of Department Assoc. Nebile Korucu Gümüşoğlu, our Department Teachers Nurten Çalışkan Çetin and Rüveyda Lokmanhekim, UTIKAD General Manager Alperen Güler and Secretary General Yüksel Kahraman attended.

Department of International Trade and Finance met on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Basın Ekspres Campus before the exams. In the event, our department teachers and students had the opportunity to come together and chat.

Lecturer Dr. Meri Taksi Deveciyan from the Department of International Trade and Finance of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences hosted Digital Artist Damla Nur Bilgin at the “Marketing Strategies” course. Bilgin gave a seminar to our students about art marketing.

The Department of International Trade and Finance held an event titled "International Trade Seminar Series V: The Jobs of The Future" on Thursday, May 9, 2022. Participating as a speaker in the online seminar was the Dean of Doğuş University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Gonca Telli who informed our students about the future of different professions with the fourth industrial revolution, also known as, industry 4.0.  

The Department of International Trade and Finance held an event titled "International Trade Seminar Series IV: Germany's Immigration and Labor Market Integration Policies" on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Nurdan Bozkurt Çakır from Yıldız Technical University Political Science and International Relations PhD Program attended the online seminar as a speaker.

The International Trade and Finance Department organized the "They are from Kültür" event on Friday, March 25, 2022, with the participation of its graduates. At the event, our department graduates talked about their career developments since their graduation and on this occasion advised our current students.

Department of International Trade and Finance, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Data Scientist Dr. Kaan Öztürk held the conference titled "International Trade Seminar Series III: Understanding Randomness" at the Basın Ekspres Campus conference hall. Also, our conference was live broadcast on our faculty's Youtube channel.

Digital Marketing Specialist Esma Nur Besle was the guest of the "Electronic Marketing" course given by Meri Taksi Deveciyan, one of the academicians of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. In the course attended by the students of the Department of Business Administration and the Department of International Trade and Finance, the subject of digital marketing was explained in detail.
