Department of International Trade and Finance

The Department of International Trade and Finance held an event titled "International Trade Seminar Series IV: Germany's Immigration and Labor Market Integration Policies" on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Nurdan Bozkurt Çakır from Yıldız Technical University Political Science and International Relations PhD Program attended the online seminar as a speaker.

The International Trade and Finance Department organized the "They are from Kültür" event on Friday, March 25, 2022, with the participation of its graduates. At the event, our department graduates talked about their career developments since their graduation and on this occasion advised our current students.

Department of International Trade and Finance, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Data Scientist Dr. Kaan Öztürk held the conference titled "International Trade Seminar Series III: Understanding Randomness" at the Basın Ekspres Campus conference hall. Also, our conference was live broadcast on our faculty's Youtube channel.

Digital Marketing Specialist Esma Nur Besle was the guest of the "Electronic Marketing" course given by Meri Taksi Deveciyan, one of the academicians of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. In the course attended by the students of the Department of Business Administration and the Department of International Trade and Finance, the subject of digital marketing was explained in detail.

International Trade and Finance Department held a seminar on Thursday, December 2, 2021, with the participation of Dünya Newspaper writer Uğur Tandoğan. In his presentation titled "Career and Management" he gave information to the students about career management and how to follow a path in this regard.

The Department of International Trade and Finance organized seminar series. The first seminar held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 10:00. Dr. Hasan Tınmaz from Woosong University met with our students with his presentation titled "Technological Life in South Korea." He mentioned living in South Korea at the seminar, Tınmaz gave information about South Korea's technological competence.

Lapidarist & Designer Ferhan Kızıler Şahin attended the "Marketing Principles" course given by Lecturer Meri Taksi Deveciyan in the Department of International Trade and Finance. Şahin shared his experiences in marketing with our students at the event held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

The Vice Head of the Department of International Trade and Finance Assoc. Prof. Nebile Korucu Gümüşoğlu organized a conversation with department’s students and candidate students. You can watch the conversation vis the department’s Instagram account (@utciku).

Propia, developed by Assoc. Prof. Yasemin Oran, one of Turkey’s leading dermatologists, organized a contest only for Istanbul Kültür University students. The winners are decided by the jury evaluation. 

The Department of International Trade and Finance organized a finance conversation to show students new trend applications in the field of finance and introduce them to industry experts. The event was held on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 18:15. RISQ Intelligent Financial Software and Globit Global Information Technologies Vice President Dr. Gözde Candemir met with our students with her presentation titled "New Trends in Finance and Financial Technology".
